General Chemistry I, CHEM 1010, is a one-semester upper-level undergraduate online course. It has been designed for individuals who need an online chemistry course as a prerequisite to apply for admission to a graduate program in the health professions. The overall goal of this online chemistry lecture is to give the student interested in the health professions an introduction to general chemistry emphasizing the concepts that will be important for and provide the basis for the subjects the student will encounter in their future studies. When I took this course I got the general content of chemistry through lectures, quizzes, and exams. Not only to do learn about the periodic table and what each number means but you get to basically learn about why certain things happen when they are combined and you get a good look at what this major entails in the future.
