I believe that students are like this because of the way they were raised. There parents are the reason why they are easily triggered because they were spoon fed everything in there life and whenever adversity came there way they told there parents and the problem just went away and never had to face it. For an example when a kid wants to go on a swing but another kid is on it instead of asking the kid they go to there parents and make them ask if he or she could have a turn, causing the kid to basically do what they wanted. This  related to trigger warnings because this is the cause of it and not facing the reality aspect of it. And I agree with everything that I read in the article.
It is a explanation of how society has came more triggered over time. From this I agree with the “zero tolerance” quote because I believe it has effected the millennial generation and it causes society to become in my opinion “very soft.”
From reading both of the articles I believe that Dweck is the article with all the problems and The Coddling have all of the solutions to the trigger warnings.  For an example in the Dweck article it talks about “ the fear of being offended and the solution to the problem can be found in “The coddling” article talking about going out of your comfort zone and facing the problem in person. And this is just one of many examples that I have found and I believe there are many more.
